Vineyard Age: Vines planted in 1968.
: clay and limestone soil
Surface of the vineyard and production : 0.50 hectares
Wine making: cold maceration then alcoholic fermentation under control of 31°C maximum temperature, in tank from 2 to 3 weeks.
Wine ageing and maturing: maturing in barrels with only one wine for about 12 months.
General characteristics of the wine:
- Color:
Dark ruby with blue reflection
- Nose: A fine bouquet (blackcurrant, blackberry).
- Taste: Powerful, vigorous with a good concentration of fine and round tannins. Beautiful balance of a fine wine with a long and spicy finish.
Harmony dish-wine: Poultry, roast pork with curry sauce, Creole rolls, young wild boar.
